Three Tenors and a Diva

Purchase your tickets now for Three Tenors and a Diva live on the RBTA stage! These three gentlemen have so much to offer on their own that together they surpass all expectations. Their careers have reached every continent and touched thousands of international audiences from Carnegie Hall to La Scala. This lively and upbeat show starts with a musical toast and ends with Andrea Boccelli’s “Time to Say Good-bye”. Aria’s, Broadway and standards woven together so tastefully that it reaches all audiences.

The tenor voice is favoured in the opera and has the repertoire of the hero and lover. Neapolitan torch songs pull our heartstrings as the singer laments for loves lost. These three heroes will steal your heart with heroic arias and break your heart as they interpret these Neapolitan torch songs.

But what good is a tenor lover without a Diva? Taming theses three is a beautiful Diva singing solos, duets and production numbers. This also makes it possible to recreate contemporary classics like the Andrea Bocelli and Celine Dion duets.

Broadway’s greatest showstoppers are the only way to end the evening, and so they do. Phantom, Les Mis, South Pacific is just a few of the many shows they draw from. As in past performances of this program, a true night of musical magic is guaranteed. All for One and a Song for All!

SAFFIRE : The Uppity Blues Women - The FAREWELL Tour

“Rehoboth Beach Theatre of the Arts presents SAFFIRE : The Uppity Blues Women - The FAREWELL Tour”

Acclaimed acoustic Blues trio adds Rehoboth Beach concert stop on their FINAL tour after a prestigious 25 year career.

The Rehoboth Beach Theatre of the Arts at 20 Baltimore Avenue in Rehoboth Beach is proud to present the internationally acclaimed, award winning Blues trio SAFFIRE – The Uppity Blues Women on their farewell tour of the United States on Saturday, May 23th beginning at 9:00 PM.

With six albums and hundreds of gigs, this trio of feisty multiracial, middle-aged, acoustic blues femmes (consisting of Ann Rabson, Gaye Adegbalola and Andra Faye) has created a musical legacy with a combination of serious blues songs and comedic novelty songs adored by an immense fan base. SAFFIRE plays original songs and the music of blues women who have inspired them, such as Big Mama Thornton, Ida Cox and Koko Taylor. Their music, both comedic and serious, tends to deal with feminist themes, which has made them very popular outside of traditional blues circles leading them from virtual obscurity to one of the most popular, witty, and just plain satisfying acoustic blues groups on the scene today. Renowned for their ability to tear into their material with passion, dedication, and originality, every song they cover becomes theirs, and their originals blend seamlessly with their unique interpretations.

This is SAFFIRE – The Uppity Blues Women’s final tour. After the end of this American tour, SAFFIRE will disband ending a robust 25 year career sweetened with fond memories and tremendous musical achievements. One lucky audience member will receive a beautiful, full-color SAFFIRE – The Uppity Blues Women The FAREWELL Tour concert poster signed by the trio.
