Written by Tim Hicks and directed by Ella C. Davis, “Fall From Grace, Rise to Glory” is a contemporary urban "dramedy" that presents the motivational story of the ultimate betrayal, how one man pushed almost to the brink of death finds himself wrestling with his inner demons and questioning God. An enriching combination of touching scenes, hilarious situations, and inspirational Gospel music will leave any audience breathlessly clinching their seats as they ride along in the storms of life so touchingly shared by the main character James.
RBTA Executive Director Hugo Immediato, Jr., is excited about being the first professional performance venue in the region to showcase a Contemporary Gospel theatrical production. “African-American gospel music in Delaware has a long and rich history of building strong communities with some extraordinary effects. I’m pleased to represent one of the first, if not the first, professional theatrical venue in the region to highlight productions of this nature. I think this show can fill a niche that seems to have been previously overlooked, and I’m pleased that the RBTA is able to host the debut of this noteworthy production”.
